The Blacksburg Police Department has teamed up with Omega Group’s CrimeMapping.com to keep the public well informed through Web based online access of crime activity in the Town of Blacksburg. Current records and dispatch data are imported automatically into CrimeMapping.com. The interactive mapping site now allows the user to select crimes by type, date and address. Crime Alerts can be set up in six easy steps to alert in an email with a detailed report about what crimes occurred and where they happened.
