Parking tickets may be paid in the following ways:

Mailing to the Town of Blacksburg: Finance Department at 300 S. Main St., Blacksburg, VA 24060. Make checks payable to the Town of Blacksburg.
Paying at the cashier window, second floor of the Blacksburg Municipal Building, 300 South Main St., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a drop box conveniently located on the outside of the municipal building on the lower level for after hours payments. Make checks payable to the Town of Blacksburg.
Paying at the front window at the Blacksburg Police Department, 200 Clay St., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Payments of cash or checks made out to the Town of Blacksburg will only be accepted.
Pay online with a Visa or MasterCard.

You may contest the ticketed charge in the General District Court of Montgomery County by completing both sides of the Parking Ticket Dispute Form (183kb pdf) within 25 days from the date the ticket was issued and returning it to the Blacksburg Police Department at 200 Clay St., SW, Blacksburg, Virginia 24060 by mail or in person. Please note that if you mail the form it must be delivered to the Blacksburg Police Department within the 25 days from the date the ticket was issued. If the form is received after the 25 days the ticket cannot be contested. Once this option is selected, the ticket and all processes become a matter for the court to decide and any questions related to fees associated with the court should be directed to the General District Clerk’s Office at 55 Main St., third floor, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073 or by calling 540-394-2086.

* Failure to pay the fine within 25 calendar days of citation will result in the penalty increasing by $15 and further action will be taken if necessary.

* All questions regarding parking tickets should be addressed with the Blacksburg Police Department's Services Division at 540-443-1419.
