Scheduled Cleanup and Curbside Collection Service

Schedule a Special Pickup

Residents wishing to dispose of brush, debris or bulky rubbish outside the scheduled pick up time must schedule a special pickup. Special pickups are provided to trash customers outside of the fall and spring cleanups. There is a $75 prepaid charge per dump truck load. Pickups are every Friday excluding holidays. The $75 has to be prepaid by the Wednesday of the week you would like the pickup. Payments can be made over the phone at 540-443-1060 using a Visa or MasterCard or in person at the cashier's window on the second floor of the Municipal Building at 300 S. Main Street.

Arbor Day/Shred-a-Thon

Arbor Day
Calling all volunteers! Come help make Blacksburg greener by planting trees on town-owned properties. Bring a shovel and get ready to get dirty. Individuals and groups are welcome.

Saturday, April 30, 9 a.m. rain or shine, starting at the Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Tree Nursery, 615 Patrick Henry Dr. Planting sites will vary.

Shred-A-Thon

Bring your papers for shredding. Reduce the risk of identity theft and keep recyclable paper out of the landfill. No businesses please.
