Whether you’re visiting for the weekend or living in Blacksburg full time, getting around is easy. First, Blacksburg is an extremely walkable community with trails and wide sidewalks everywhere. Don’t want to walk, grab your bike and go. There are bike racks on virtually every corner downtown. If you prefer to drive you’ll have no problem as traffic is usually minimal and getting from point a to point b will likely never take you more than 10 minutes. Parking is also readily available through a number of public parking garages, as well as on street metered spaces. Lastly, if you prefer to let someone else do the driving, hop on Blacksburg Transit for a minimal fee, sit back and enjoy the ride.
