19th Century African American Quilters in Appalachia

Kathleen Curtis Wilson, fellow at the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, is a nationally known researcher, writer, and speaker. She will lead a discussion on the significance of African American fiber arts in Appalachia. This free event is part of the 40th Annual Appalachian Studies Association Conference that is taking place March 9-12 at Virginia Tech.
