The Alexander Black House & Cultural Center will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 13, so the Blacksburg Museum & Cultural Foundation can focus on the Fifth Annual Blues, Brews, and BBQ. The event takes place at the St. Luke & Odd Fellows Hall, 203 Gilbert St., from Noon to 6 p.m., and will feature:  

* Six Bands on two stages

* Vintage cars from the "Grand Classics Cruisers"

* Art, craft, and vintage vendors

* Virginia beers and ciders

* BBQ and other food vendors.
