Don't forget to file and pay your Town of Blacksburg 2019 Professional and Occupational Business License renewal.
All license taxes that remain unpaid after March 1, 2019 will be subject to interest at a rate of 10% per year in addition to all other fees and penalties that may apply. On returns submitted by mail, the filing date and applicable payment are determined by the postmark on the envelope. All taxpayers are cautioned that tax deadlines are strictly observed and penalties are enforced.
If you are no longer in business, or if you do not intend to transact business in Blacksburg during 2019, please notify us in writing so that we may delete your account from our files. Please call our office if you need an additional copy of the renewal form or download the renewal form.
For your convenience, an after-hours depository box is located at the lower level of the Blacksburg Municipal Building at 300 S. Main St. For easy access, use the lower parking lot that faces Washington Street.
