The Zoning Ordinance  Review Committee (ZORC) will hold a meeting at 5:30 pm in the Blacksburg Motor Company  building large conference room at 400 South Main Street. 

Consideration of amendments to the text of the Town's Zoning Ordinance are referred by Town Council to the Planning Commission.  The ZORC reviews and helps to develop the proposed wording for amendments to be considered by the Planning Commission and then acted upon by Town Council. 

Zoning Ordinance Amendment #44 is to consider allowing requests for additional building height and limited educational facilities in the Downtown Commercial (DC) zoning district by Conditional Use Permit (CUP).

New information and draft copies of the ordinance will be posted on the Town of Blacksburg website as they become available.

A second ZORC meeting to discuss ZOA #44 will be held on Monday, May 13th if necessary.  Please check the Town calendar closer to that date for more details.
