Town of Blacksburg Public Meeting Notice

The Town of Blacksburg is considering a text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance (ZOA #49) that would affect the Historic District. The first step in this initiative is to involve property owners and residents that live in the district and interested citizens. Everyone is invited to a kickoff meeting for the project to learn more about possible changes to the district and the timeline for the project. Some of the items being proposed are additions to the list of contributing (historic) structures in the Blacksburg Overlay District, review of the membership requirements for the Historic or Design Review Board (HDRB), and establishing criteria when parking lots are proposed in the District.
