RZN 21-0005/ORD 1979-Request to rezone 2.79 acres at 100 Country Club Drive SE (Tax Map No. 287-A 37) from R-5 Transitional Residential to PR Planned Residential by Community Housing Partners (applicant) on behalf of Rengin Holt (property owner).
The proposed multifamily residential development, Legacy on South Main, will utilize Low Income Housing Tax credits to ensure long-term affordability for residents for at least 30 years. The existing single family house on the property will be demolished and one apartment building is proposed with a total of 142 bedrooms at 51.6 bedrooms/acre.
This proposed project represents an increase over the residential density envisioned in the future land use designation.
