Summer Solstice Fest Road Closures
Summer Solstice Fest is Back!
The 14th Annual Summer Solstice Fest returns to Downtown Blacksburg, on Saturday, June 18 from 1-11pm Enjoy live music, food, arts, crafts, performances, and more!
Circus Stella, a traditional family circus which features performing rescued dogs and amazing human feats like trapeze, aerial silk, rope-walking, and acrobatics, will perform three shows. The Children’s Area will also feature a petting zoo, an obstacle course, and water games!
The PanJammers will kick off the music on the Freedom First stage leading a fun-filled line up including Root Down, Flight One, Ripe Jive, Annabelle’s Curse, and The Jared Stout Band. Visit the website for the full schedule.
The festival will also feature hula and silk fan performers, as well as performances by The Mystic Witches of Floyd, and the Irish Dance Academy of Southwest Virginia.
Summer Solstice Fest will be held on Main Street and Lee Street with a fantastic line up of family fun and entertainment for all, rain or shine. From Circus Stella to the live music to the Downtown Sundown 5K® Run, we guarantee there will be something fun for everyone!
