The Blacksburg Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Roger E. Hedgepeth Chambers of the Blacksburg Municipal Building, 300 South Main Street, Blacksburg, Virginia, to hear the following case:
BZA Case #22-0001 – Appeal of a written determination by the Zoning Administrator concerning Town subdivision regulations for property located off of Farmingdale Lane (Parcels 007146, 240014, 240015, and portion of 018582). Appeal submitted by Farmingdale Lane LLC, Lucas Construction and Development Inc., and Charles and Virginia Shaver – property owners.
Specific elements of the appeal concern Subdivision Ordinance, Article V Requirements for Design Standards, Public Improvements and Reservations of Land for Public Purposes, Division 3 - Streets: Section 5-303 Access to adjoining properties; Section 5-305(a) Coordination of streets with existing streets; 5-310 Cul-de-Sac; and 5-317 Blocks.
Persons affected by or otherwise interested in this case may appear and present their views at the public hearing. After the hearing for the case, the Board will consider making a decision on the appeal.
