ROW 23-0001-Request to vacate approximately 20,439 square feet of Town-Owned Right-of-Way (adjacent to Tax Parcel 347-8 1) at 2600 Research Center Drive by Gretchen Merix of Balzer and Associates (applicant) on behalf of Snyder-Hunt Company, LLP. (owner).
The Blacksburg Planning and Building Department has received a request to vacate approximately 20,439 square feet (0.47) of Town-owned Right-of-Way known as Rimrock Drive from Research Center Drive to its termination at Route 460 Bypass. The application states that the vacated property will be absorbed into Tax Parcel 347-8 1 and used as a private driveway to access the Blue Ridge Cancer Center.
A Neighborhood Meeting will be held to discuss this application on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 4:00 pm.
