The Blacksburg Police Department provides an excellent opportunity for citizens to gain a better perspective of the day-to-day operations of the Police Department. Academies are offered once a year. There is no fee to participate in the Blacksburg Police Department's Citizen Police Academy. Classes are held once a week on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. at the Blacksburg Police Department, 200 Clay St., SE.
